Our Story: Designed With Love and Compassion
At K9 QuickClip, we believe that dog training is about more than just teaching dogs; it’s about supporting people and their furry companions. For many pet owners, dogs are family, and the thought of losing that bond can be heartbreaking.
In the early 2000s, I worked with an 89-year-old client who had a small, energetic dog. The woman was concerned that if she couldn’t control her dog, she would have to give it up. We decided a training collar would help, but the existing equipment was difficult for her to use due to her limited dexterity. So, we modified the equipment to suit her needs. This was the beginning of our journey—creating tools that make dog training easier and more accessible for everyone.
Years later, I noticed similar challenges with family members recovering from surgery and dealing with physical limitations. As I talked with others in my circle, I realized this was a widespread issue. I also recognized that many veterans returning from service face physical challenges that make handling training equipment difficult.
This insight led us to design the K9 QuickClip and other products with the goal of making training easier for those with physical limitations. We want to help people stay connected with their dogs, whether they’re seniors, post-surgery patients, or veterans who have served our country. By creating products that meet the needs of these groups, we believe we’re creating solutions that benefit everyone.
Our mission is simple: We want you to stay together with your dog for a lifetime. Whether you’re a retiree, a veteran with physical challenges, or a rockstar soccer mom! We’ve designed our equipment to make it easier to work with your dog—because when training tools are easier to use, they’re better for everyone.
